Ebanista and Smart Altair possess good early speed and will battle for early honours. EBANISTA (5) showed good early speed then led into the straight when fresh from a spell last start before fighting on well to finish third over 1200m at this track. Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. STEEL STORM (1) resumed two weeks ago over 1200m at this track and was only beaten 2 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the bend. Has a very strong second up record so anticipating a better run this time. LOFTY PHRASE (4) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a break last start. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again. SMART ALTAIR (9) returned from a spell two weeks ago when he was sixth over 1200m at this track. Fitter and can improve into the placings here.
