THE LAZARUS EFFECT (2) scored at the first run back from a layoff last time out over 2400m at Central Southland Raceway on 22/05/2025, finishing 3.5 metres ahead of his rivals. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. AMASS (1) finished third last start, beaten 18 metres at Phar Lap Raceway over 2600m. Talented and has plenty of upside. Expect him to be prominent. SLOTS (3) should be ready to peak now after finishing fourth over 2400m at Central Southland Raceway two weeks ago. Expect him to give this a real shake. WILD WILLOW (7) is in the mix after turning in a better effort last start to finish third at this track over 1980m.
