Fast pace assured with Global Wonder, New Enterprise and The Stifmeister leading the charge. THE STIFMEISTER (4) took his time to acclimatize to racing in this area but has now hit his straps with a couple of wins and a second placing from his last 3 starts. He was only bloused on the line by a short-head here a week ago and with 3.5 kilos less to carry this time, he can make an immediate return to the winner's circle here. GLOBAL WONDER (1) broke through for an overdue win here 4 weeks ago and he is never far from the action. He has never won over this trip but in his current space, he is sure to be right in the finish again. NEW ENTERPRISE (2) was run down late when finishing second over a mile here last start and is dropping back to his pet trip. He also has 3 kilos less to carry this time and can go one better in a small but even lineup. MERSEYSIDE (3) ran her best race yet when finishing runner-up here last time out. She benefits from a 2-kilo claim this time and she can make full use of the perfect inside gate. Stick with her. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Stifmeister to win.
