Derozario to roll forward and dictate terms. SUN GIFT (8) has had two runs to date, solid on debut at Geelong over 1412m before appreciating the extra trip when second, beaten a nose over 1740m. Up in trip again here looks ideal and she should be going close. DEROZARIO (4) made a sharp jump in distance to 2000m at Pakenham second up and ran well for third, beaten two lengths. Fitter for that and should take running down from the soft draw. LORD PROTECTOR (2) was much better over a mile at Pakenham second up. Gets more ground now which should suit and can improve quickly. HOLLY'S STAR (6) held her ground back in the field on debut over a mile at Pakenham but should improve up in trip. REAL WILD CHILD (7) could sneak a place. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen on Sun Gift.
