CITY OF MELTON FREE FOR ALL 1720m
Topline four-year-old BAY OF BISCAY (5) makes his first appearance since a Sydney double, last seen with a well-deserved Group 1 success in the Chariots of Fire in March. Has the gate speed to push forward from this draw and will be ready to go off a trial win. MIKI TO SUCCESS (1) only beat a couple home when last seen in the Chariots of Fire but he has never missed a place when fresh, beating Bay of Biscay in a G3 4YO Bonanza win at this circuit and distance to kick off his last campaign. Has trialled and gets a soft run from the ace draw. CATCH A WAVE (9) has had almost two months off since a trip to WA where he scored a win and was fourth in the Fremantle Cup last start. Has trialled twice, winning the latest, and he loves this distance with six wins from nine tries. OLIVER DAN (6) owns a solid record at this distance and goes well fresh so keep safe. TRIPLE EIGHT (2) appreciated a similar draw to this last time when improving for second. Go well again. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

SOME AMERICAN (3) was tackling stronger company in Sydney before a spell, last seen in the G1 Chariots of Fire and finishing fourth in a G3 prior. Goes very well fresh with two wins and placing from four attempts and was readied with a trial win so has strong claims from a good draw. KINGMAN (11) has never missed a place in four first-up attempts, winning twice. Finished second in the G3 4YO Bonanza at this circuit and distance the last time he was fresh and has trialled so expect a strong return with any luck from the draw. WAR DAN BUDDY (10) drew wide when midfield in the Chariots of Fire when last seen and placed in Group races in his other two starts of that campaign. Contender. METEOR MOTH (6) drew poorly and worked last start but won his previous two here so could bounce back. HES FROM HEAVEN (8) draws for a trail and the shorter distance may suit. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

WASTE SENSE MARES PACE 2240m
LET HER ROLL (11) didn't have much luck in a two-start Sydney raid but came from this row for a resuming win the last time she raced at this circuit. Has had seven weeks off so will be fresh and races very well that way. Has impressive strike rates both here and at the distance so ticks plenty of boxes. SWEET IDEAL (12) is race fit and in form, scoring a second-up win at this circuit before drawing on this row when runner-up last time. Leading hope. Hard to knock the form of JAZZY MELEA (6) who has put three wins together, one of them at this venue. Include. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

SILVER PISTOL (5) was solid when fifth in the NSW Derby when last seen in March and won his other three starts of the campaign including his Derby heat. Has two wins and a placing from three fresh attempts and will be ready to go off a trial win. Stablemate FOX DAN (8) had no luck when fourth after racing wide in the Gold Chalice at Bathurst in March and won his other two starts of the campaign. He is unbeaten in three fresh attempts and draws for a trail so looks very dangerous. IM DUSTEE (10) cops a tough draw but deserves respect after finding winning form here last week. PESCI (1) and TRIPLE ROCK SAINT (3) are both exotic hopes aided by good draws. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

BENSTUD STANDARDBREDS PACE 1720m
STORMS COLLIDE (4) resumes after tackling some smart three-year-olds last time in. Led from wider to win a NSW Derby heat at Menangle to kick off the last campaign, taking his fresh statistics to two wins and a placing from three attempts. Readied with a trial win so can add to that record. DANCE AFFAIR (3) only missed narrowly from the back row here last time and won his previous two. Draws to be competitive. IN AN IDEAL WORLD (10) draws on the second line but scored back-to-back wins last month, one of them here. First four hope. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

HARAS DES TROTTEURS TROT 1720m
GOTFEELINGSYOUKNOW (3) is back after a spell of nine months but is a strong fresh performer with two wins and a placing from three attempts. Readied with two trials and should enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position. REMUS PHOENIX (6) hit his peak third-up when he scored by more than 4 metres at this circuit. Draws a few spots wider but could go on with it. RAPID RETURN (2) draws well and showed improvement in finishing runner-up here last time out. She'll be at peak fitness now. SEBASTIANS BOY (8) is capable on his day and should enjoy a pretty soft run from this draw, with the sprint lane in play. Last-start placegetter EBONYS AVENGER (1) is a player again from the inside draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

APG TROT 2240m
DICHOTOMY (6) made it two wins from her last three outings when she got home by 4.5 metres at this circuit last week. Draws wider and is up in distance but is proven at it. In form so can keep the ball rolling. MISS YO (8) is a newcomer to the Andy Gath yard from New Zealand. Hasn't raced for six-and-a-half months but looks to be right up to the mark following a placing in a recent trial. Drawn to enjoy an economical run and can measure up. MITCHELL WRAP (4) led from a similar draw when he won here last month so could give a sight. OUR MARVELLA (5) is also in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

HERTZ MELTON TROTTERS FREE FOR ALL 1720m
Top class trotter CALLMETHEBREEZE (3) hasn't been seen since he tackled a G1 last October but won three in a row prior. His record at this circuit and distance stands at three from four and he has a Great Southern Star victory over Just Believe on his resume. Readied with three nice trials and if he returns anywhere near his best will be very hard to stop. ALDEBARAN VERA (1) led from a few spots wider and kicked on for second here last start. Should be nearing her peak now and draws to give a sight. ALDEBARAN ZEUS (6) was held up late when midfield last week but was a winner here prior so can make an impact if things go his way from a wider draw. IM BOBBY (4) chased a smart one to place here last week so deserves respect along with first-up winner IMPERIAL MONARCH (5) who drops to a distance where he won his only attempt. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

HYGAIN VICTORY 2YO TROT 1720m
KEAYANG BAZLENKA (2) showed promise when he drew wider and raced parked before scoring by more than 5m on debut at Terang. Open to natural improvement and draws nicely so can take the next step. ELLE PERFECTO (6) is a progressive filly with two wins and a second from her last three starts here. Enjoyed the return to this distance when she led to score by 3.8m last time. Draws wider but is good enough to overcome it. VANCE LANE (7) draws wide but did a good job to place behind Elle Perfecto after racing parked last time and came from the second row when he scored here last month. Contender. MYSTICAL TRUSCOTT (1) added to a string of top-four finishes when she placed last time at Bendigo and draws to be competitive again. SUGGESTED PLAY: |

LOGICAL STAFFING SOLUTIONS 2YO PACE 1720m
SHOWMETHETANLINES (1) returns after winning both starts of his maiden campaign, the first of them at Addington before he crossed the Tasman to land the G3 Sapling Stakes in Sydney. That was three-and-a-half months ago but he'll be ready off three nice trials and gets the ace draw. The two Emma Stewart runners are dangers, particularly BROOKLYN DAN (2) who placed from the back row last time. He should get his chance from this much more favourable draw. KNIGHT FURY DAN (5) starts from a few spots wider but was only 1.2m behind Brooklyn Dan last start and did kick off his career with a win at this circuit and distance. MAXO MIGHTY (3) was well beaten fresh but won both starts of his maiden campaign so could do better. SUGGESTED PLAY: |
