FACET (7) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1800m at this track. Well placed and happy to have her on top. Z REGINA (9) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt when second, beaten 3 lengths. Breaks from a wide draw but a big run is anticipated. PRASENTIER (1) turned in a moderate debut over 1400m at this track on April 20 when she was safely held in sixth, 9 lengths from the winner. Open to plenty of improvement. Likely to feature. BOOGIE NIGHTS (2) faced the starter for the first time and finished 12th last start at Hanshin over 1600m, beaten 8 lengths. Plenty of scope for improvement. |

WIN ARDORE (7) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt when he was handy all the way. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. NEUER HELD (9) battled on well to hold third last start over 1400m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 0.6 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. GARDEN CAMELLIA (5) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing third last time when she was in the firing line all the way over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ZUBATTO MASAMUNE (2) was prominent into the straight last time but tired late to finish 6 lengths away in sixth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Should be about the money. |

TREEFROG (10) resumed from a spell last start with a sound third over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. ARMIUS (1) ran a better race last start at his second trip to the races, finishing fifth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Fitter and worth including. TAISEI FORTE (12) is back after a break of ten weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished eighth over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Solid top-three hope. |

WISHING STAR (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1600m at Hanshin when third, beaten 2 lengths. Aided by the rails draw so she shouldn't be a maiden for long. JAZZ (7) is yet to break through in four runs. Finished fourth at his last appearance over 1600m at Hanshin on April 13. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. BOILER MAKER (15) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at Hanshin, beaten 5.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish. FREEDOM REIGN (14) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when fifth at Hanshin over 1600m, beaten 4.5 lengths. Don't underestimate. |

SPEED RICH (2) is building towards his maiden success, the latest effort a solid second over 1800m at Hanshin, beaten 2 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. PERFUME SCENT (10) looked good at her only appearance 11 weeks ago over 1800m at this track, finishing third and beaten 2 lengths. Will be better for that race experience and is among the main hopes. MINA DE ORO (5) was beaten half a length into second at this track two starts ago then finished 5.5 lengths from the winner in fifth last time at Hanshin. Drawn for a good trail just off the pace. Well placed here and among the winning hopes. BRILLO DORADO (7) raced once in the maiden preparation when well supported but could only manage fourth at Tokyo over 1800m back on January 28. Plenty of scope for improvement. |

ANDES VIENTO (3) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Going well enough to take this out. RIEN QUE TOI (9) had a bit on her rivals on debut, recording an impressive win over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Will appreciate the drop in the weights. Should camp just off the leaders. Sure to be in the finish. HOLLYWOOD PARK (2) returned from a spell three weeks ago when she was beaten 8 lengths into fourth over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. COMBAT PESCA (4) has not raced since she scored over 1800m at this track on January 27. Key contender. |

SUCCESS AI (4) is back at the races for the first time since January 27. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1600m at Hanshin. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. DAMIER (7) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1600m at Hanshin, finishing second and beaten a nose when he worked home well. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PRINCE KNOT (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Hanshin, finishing fourth and only 1.4 lengths from the winner at the end of 1600m. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. MOZU ANTARES (6) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 5.5 lengths away in tenth over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt. Suitably placed so can turn things around. |

DEEP REBORN (7) was in contention on the corner and finished 0.8 lengths from the winner in second when resuming last start at Chukyo Dirt over this distance. Has found the frame in all four starts at this journey, including two wins. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Leading contender. WINNING GRACE (5) was quickly into stride over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt last time and went on to score by 1.5 lengths. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Must raise the bar but he has the ability to test this field. Grade 3 placegetter RED BELLE AME (1) returned from a spell seven weeks ago when he was beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Beautifully placed and is sure to make amends. JOSHO POWER (6) finished second last time over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten a neck. Will trim down following recent racing. Capable of another bold effort. |

FLEUR (4) built on a nice second two starts back at Nakayama with a win over 2600m at Fukushima three weeks ago, getting home by 2 lengths. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MAKOTO VELIKIJ (1) is a last-start winner over the shorter trip of 2000m at Hanshin, getting home by a head. Nice weight drop so he is expected to measure up again. SHIHONO SPERANZA (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when eighth, beaten 4 lengths, over 2600m at Hanshin after he got a long way back. Cherry-ripe now and is capable of sharp improvement. SILKY VOICE (3) was always well back last start at the first run of this campaign and never threatened, finishing 12th over 2500m at Nakayama. Should run well. |

AWESOME STROKE (10) tackled the New Zealand Trophy (NHK Mile Cup Trial) over 1600m at Nakayama last time out when fresh from a spell and was beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth by Ecoro Bloom. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the main contenders. PAIR POLLUX (6) has not been sighted since he scored over 1200m at Kokura on February 3. Sound record at this distance with two wins and four minor placings from eight runs and is expected to feature. LABELING (10) is a talented entire who was well held last time out in the tougher Lord Derby Challenge Trophy won by Parallel Vision over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten 5.5 lengths into eighth. Grade 1 placed and this looks a more suitable assignment. JUSTIN SKY (13) was safely held when resuming from a spell behind Borzakovskiy in stakes class at Hanshin over 1600m, beaten 3.5 lengths into tenth. Well placed and looks a key runner. Grade 3 placegetter CARRO VELOCE (8) was last at the races when he finished eighth over 1400m in the G3 Hankyu Hai at Hanshin on February 25. Definite top-three chance. |
