BRUNTWOOD BRIGADE (2) turned in an uncharacteristically poor run most recently when 17 metres away in eighth over 2200m at this track. Form prior to that had been solid. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Has the talent to return to something like his best. BETA PREPARE (4) is in good form with top-five finishes at his last four starts, most recently recording a second over 2200m at Cambridge Raceway. Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of running another big race. BEACHBREAK (1) scored by half a metre over 2200m at this track last start at the second run back from a break. Plenty of room for improvement so another win would not surprise. KEVIN KLINE (5) must be included on the back of some solid recent form, most recently when fourth at this track over 1700m. ULTIMATE RACY GIRL (7) gave a good account at her latest appearance over 1700m at this track, beaten just 3 metres into fourth. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Meets a comparable field and she can play a big role. PRINCESS OF SAVOY (6) is the next best after finishing third over 1700m at this track last time out.
