NUM TIME COMMENT
1 12:10 Ruby Tuesday Foundation Maiden Plate 2132m
Whisky Sour has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. STARTS NOW (6) has caught the eye in both runs to date. From a sharp stable so further improvement is anticipated third up and the rise in trip looks to suit him perfectly. The one to beat. FREE FALLIN' (1) chased gamely into the placings last start at Mildura. Has a wide alley to contest and is expected to be doing his best work late. KETCHIKAN (2) was below his best last start at Strathalbyn when beaten a long way but had been ticking along nicely prior. Rates well on best efforts and can bounce back quickly. RIVOLI VIEW (4) sets up nicely from the low draw after finishing in the frame in his last two. In the mix. WHISKY SOUR (5) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Starts Now to win.
2 12:45 Benefitness & Health Centre Maiden Plate 1200m
Moderate tempo with Great City leading the way. COVERT WITNESS (6) progressed nicely second up when running into the placings here just under a fortnight ago. Cherry-ripe third up and is drawn favourably with Holder piloting again. Ready. LORD VALEN (5) has done a good job to finish in the placings in his three runs back. Fitter again and also draws well. Expect him to be in this for a very long way. FAIR LEGACY (7) was super fresh when beaten narrowly off a long break at Mt Gambier. Treading cautiously second up but she could prove hard to stop. OCHEROUS (8) resumes and takes benefit from a soft trial in. Don't underestimate.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Covert Witness.
3 01:20 Jordan & Fowler Family Lawyers Maiden Plate 1522m
Strong early tempo from Thermodynamic spearing over from an outside gate, with High On Sugar also pushing up. THERMODYNAMIC (3) has been denied narrowly from getting off the mark in his two resuming efforts. Has enough early dash to offset the tricky draw and interesting to note the application of blinkers first time. Bold showing anticipated. I TELL YA WHAT (5) went close to breaking through last start at Murray Bridge, beaten a long neck when sent out favourite. Open to further improvement but will need a smart steer from the gate. LITTLE CHICAGO (1) warmed to his task nicely over the concluding stages last start at Strathalbyn when finding the frame. Expecting him to drift back again from the barrier and be charging late. HIGH ON SUGAR (4) wasn't far away first-up but was no match for an impressive winner last time out. Draws favourably with Crowther sticking. One of the key chances. MAHENO (6) finds it tough to break the ice but has found the line well in his last two without threatening the winner. Blinkers on first time should have him sharpened. Don't underestimate. SAVSONIC (9) next.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Thermodynamic to win.

Even tempo only with Our Fortuna pushing forward from the outside gate in a race that lacks genuine early speed. CHOSEN MISS (1) was a dominant winner over a similar trip two back at Balaklava and then followed it up with a solid chase into the placings at Strathalbyn last time. Ticking along nicely and only has to hold her form to prove very hard to beat. TEMBU BOY (2) wasn't far away two back on the Parks track in a tougher grade, despite finishing seventh. Not as effective last start but can bounce back. SESAR (6) was doing his best work late here last start when finishing in the frame. Goes well over this track and trip and is among the main chances. WARRANDYTE ROAD (9) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Chosen Miss to win.
5 02:30 Advanced Transport Refrigeration Class One Handicap 1100m
Pace genuine with Laila's A Gem and Duthy Street running them along. SPLISH SPLASH (7) resumes for the smart R & C Jolly stable. Has shown good ability in her early career, despite only notching up the one success. Draws to get all the favours with leading hoop in Toeroek. If she's taken any improvement in the break she's the one to beat. SIOUX WARRIOR (2) went on with the job nicely at Balaklava to finally shed his maiden tag. Confidence boosting win and he can go on with it from the good draw with Holder sticking. JIMMY DA DOZER (9) should be nearing his peak third up. Blinkers on first time is intriguing. Could make all the difference. Last start winner LIFT THE BAR (6) next best.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Splish Splash to win.

Only a moderate early tempo anticipated with no recognised leaders engaged. MIDNIGHT RUSH (4) came with a barnstorming run to just miss last start at Strathalbyn. Drawn much kinder this time and should take plenty of stopping with Toeroek sticking. BELMONT AVENUE (1) chased gamely into the placings when resuming at the latest. The form has stuck up strongly in 21 days and he's already a winner at this venue. Bold showing anticipated. GARRIRE (5) struggled to make an impact last start when tackling tougher opposition. Should appreciate the drop in grade and he's in the mix. NOT A BRASS RAZOO (6) should improve second-up and is worth considering at each-way odds.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Midnight Rush gets the nod.
7 03:40 Knightsbridge Wealth Management Benchmark 56 Handicap 1522m
The speedy I'm Kenny should find the front with Pandarus and Burning Bright on his heels. BURNING BRIGHT (5) struggled to make her presence felt when resuming in town last start. Improvement to come second up and Holder sticking is a good push for her chances over the longer trip. A TOUCH FROSTY (2) wasn't far away when resuming at Mt Gambier. Sure to have come on with that run under the belt and is aided again at the weights with the 1.5kg claimer piloting. Right in this. I'M KENNY (1) has been far from his best in his last two but steps back out to a winning trip now. Can give this a big shake on best efforts. JAMROCK (6) best of the rest.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Burning Bright.
8 04:15 Contract Engineering Rating 0 - 62 Handicap 1200m
Strong early tempo with Kingson likely to hold the lead from the rails draw, joined by Hollandaise. CHAMBERS BAY (7) bounced back off a disappointing run at Balaklava with a solid chase into the placings at Morphettville Parks last time out. Can keep the ball rolling now and is a major player. AIGUILETTE (1) progressed nicely second-up at Mt Gambier when finishing just under a length away in second. Open to further improvement third-up and is right in the mix. HOLLANDAISE (9) somehow finished out of the frame last start at Strathalbyn when beaten 0.5L. Expect him to be nearing his peak now and with Holder sticking he should be right in the mix. LITTLE RICH BOY (5) didn't give them a sniff here last start when leading pillar-to-post. Is a track and trip specialist that can win again. RESERVOIR DOG (3) returns shy of a preferred trip but has ability and is the one to watch for late in the piece.  SUGGESTED PLAY: Slight lean to Chambers Bay.
