HO MAN TIN HANDICAP 1400m Track: GOOD Out 9 Metres
Plenty of pace likely from River Views, Run Run Timing and Enjoy Golf battling for the lead from Top Scorer. TOP SCORER (4) led them up on resumption and couldn't hang on, beaten by one better on the day. He did jump favourite though and he's been back to the trials since that effort. Purton sticks with the galloper and with added fitness on his side, he can go one better. SKY TRUST (8) is racing well of late but can't seem to break through. He finished behind Top Scorer over this track and trip last time out, but he has a number of ratings that are right up to winning a race like this. Drawn well and can put his best foot forward. OWNERS' PRAISE (2) beat both Top Scorer and Sky Trust last start when storming home over the top. He does rise 3kg for that win and meets them worse at the weights. He'll be spotting them a start once more, but it would be no surprise to see him round them up and win again. ENJOY GOLF (5) will benefit from the debut effort and the form out of the race has been good.
