HAKUSAN PIONEER (9) doesn't win out of turn but ran a nice race when resuming from a spell last time out over 1200m at Fukushima, finishing second and beaten only a head. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. Grade 3 placegetter RED HILL SHOES (8) resumed two weeks ago over 1000m at Niigata and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into fifth. Ryusei Sakai is a key engagement. Won't find this as tough so she is a major player. OXLIP (6) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 1200m at Fukushima. Among the leading chances. HAKUSAN PIONEER (9) strips fitter second up and may earn some minor money.
