A solid tempo on the cards with Nanakorobi Yaoki taking charge. HAY PEARL (7) caught the eye late when she got up for third last start over 1262m at Taree. Handy mare on her day and this scenario is right in her sweet spot. Looks the one to beat. HARMONY HALO (3) improved sharply last time out when second-up from a spell, making up a stack of late ground to just miss over 1005m at this track. Loves racing here and is ideally placed out to this distance. JUST ZIGGY (5) led all the way and gave nothing else a chance most recently over 1262m at Taree. Getting up in the weights but looms a genuine threat again. LA QUINTA DONNA (6) was second to Just Ziggy two runs ago then subsequently failed in a tougher race at Taree. Can bounce back. The in-form BROWNED OFF (2) is down in grade so can add to the strong recent results despite going up in the weights. SUGGESTED PLAY: This looks the right race for Hay Pearl.
