Only a small field with Fighting Commando likely to find a comfortable lead. A good race. FIGHTING COMMANDO (1) led and won in Open grade at Rockhampton and then went back and missed a whisker also at this level. He races forward and Butler stays aboard and is flying. Well managed he should see out the 1800m. DEVIL KICK (4) just beat the above home last time digging deep as favourite. Has to carry 2kg more but will get every chance from the handy draw. ENUFF HE SAID (3) was nudged out in the same race and arrives here at peak fitness. Has a low gate and Stanley is a positive jockey engagement. OLYMPIC KORCHNOI (2) brings different form lines and gets a stack of weight relief. He's going well enough to consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Fighting Commando.
