Strong early tempo with Water Dragon, Renowned and Etoilefillante leading the way. WATER DRAGON (1) ran a good race when second over 1400m last time out. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He should have no issues with the rise to 1800m. The Vaughan Marshall stable is in fine form and he may be the one to side with. ALADDIN'S LAMP (7) has shown good improvement in each of his outings to date. He raced greenly around the turn last start but stayed on well to finish second. Hard to beat this time. ETOILEFILLANTE (3) is better than his last start over 1600m. He finished second in his penultimate run here over this trip. If putting his best hoof forward, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. FRENCH TRIP (9) is heading the right way and with a touch of luck from a tricky gate, he should be right in the finish again. Each way.
