Plenty of early pace from Abrams, Coolidge Tesoro and Monaco Bull primarily. YUINO KOMICHI (15) lifted strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a spell as favourite last start over 1600m at this track. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Nicely placed to take this out. ABRAMS (1) was well fancied last start over 1300m here when fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Deserves another chance. COOLIDGE TESORO (6) returned from a spell eight weeks ago when he was prominent at the turn before being beaten 10 lengths into 12th over 1600m at Chukyo. Likely improver with strong prospects. HIRONDELLE (10) finished third last time over 1400m at Kasamatsu, beaten 3 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge.
