From the wide gate Lone Wolf should cross and lead. HORATIO (13) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt after being in contention all the way. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw and is nicely placed to take this out. DAIGO RYUJIN (12) is a seven-start maiden who has been in the money three times. Could only manage fifth at the latest appearance over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Has been in the frame at all two runs over this trip and will give a great sight. LONE WOLF (11) finished sixth last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt after racing on the pace for much of the way. Another bold showing is expected. TRIDENT (14) resumes from a spell of 12 weeks. Could only manage to finish seventh at the latest run over 2400m at Tokyo. Has ability and is worth including while fresh.
