Good pressure from the outset with Finance Partner, Every Effort and Emerald's Son taking up the running over Crown'm and Chowdah. CROWN'M (7) made late ground to get up for third in a BM66 here at this distance last start. Has only won one race but this is a huge step back in class so he gets his chance. FINANCE PARTNER (2) stalked the pace then was far too good late in the piece over 1412m at Taree last time out. Gives every indication he is ready to tackle this distance for the first time. Worth following. MUCKABOUT (1) struggled last Saturday at Newcastle but this is a far easier assignment. Well in after the claim and can bounce back. PRINCE OF TOKYO (5) off a five-week freshen-up has each-way claims. BANDOLERO (3) is back in grade and fitter for three runs back from a spell. Watch for a better run this afternoon. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Crown'm.
