Pace looks strong with Meisho Titan pushing forward from an outside draw along with Lumiere Noire in closer. TOSHIN MACAU (1) multiple Grade 3 winner. Missed the frame last time when sixth in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at Chukyo. That followed a run of two wins on end. Drawn to enjoy a nice trail just off the pace and will give a great sight. Grade 2 winner WIN MARVEL (15) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when 12th over 1200m in the G1 Takamatsunomiya Kinen at Chukyo. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with three wins from six runs and should prove tough to beat. Grade 2 winner RED MON REVE (4) returns from a spell of 11 weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when 15th over 1800m in the G2 Nakayama Kinen. Form at this track is solid and is sure to be competitive while fresh. SO VALIANT (3) multiple Grade 3 winner. Was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Kyoto, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
