Solid tempo from Scorpion, Sympatheia and So Darn Right battling for the lead in a high-pressure contest. SO DARN RIGHT (4) is a progressive three-year-old filly who resumes from a break of ten weeks, her last appearance being a win over 1200m at this track at her only run of that campaign. Speedy filly drawn well and expected to go close. TOSEN ESCUDO (11) was prominent from the outset when second over 1200m at Fukushima last time out. Should park just off the speed. Overdue and gets chance. MOJA LEO (12) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with a win as favourite over 1200m at Kyoto six weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. SYMPATHEIA (9) is back from a break of nine weeks. Raced below par at her only appearance last prep when 11th over 1400m at Tokyo. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Can feature in the finish.
