Rates highly and should take some beating. ALANA KOA (9) produced a solid effort last time when sixth over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Course and distance winner. The extra journey should play into his hands. One of the main contenders. GUIMARD (13) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt. Second up record is sound. Fitter and sure to run well. TAMAMO CALICOT (4) was responsible for a better run last start at the second run of the prep, beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Has his share of ability and is a top-three prospect.
