Keen battle for the lead with Groovy On, Irodorino Kaori and Kamino Wa in advance of Meiyu and Isa Chil Come Come. GROOVY ON (4) is a five-start maiden who could only manage to finish sixth after being in the firing line on the turn at her latest appearance in a much tougher field over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. This looks like a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. IRODORINO KAORI (10) found plenty to get the prize by a neck three runs back at this track before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Should park just off the speed. Expected to be an each-way threat. MEIYU (8) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. He strips fitter and will find this field more to his liking. Stick with him. KAMINO WA (5) did a great job to score by 3 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Looks well placed, so expect another big run.
