MICKEY'S MEDAL (9) saves his best for this course and like the way he closed late when a tidy first-up second over 1400m at Canberra. Can sit off them from the good draw and stake his claim late. MIDNIGHT OPAL (17) has been thereabouts at all three runs back and racing like the 1400m will suit. Expected to gain a start and can take a hand in the finish. PIPPIE BEACH (15) good fresh mare who returns with two trials under the belt. Saves her best for this track and trip. Stays in the mix. The chances don't end there.
