Has a wide gate to overcome but she should be in the finish. KEIAI WHAKAPONO (1) has been out of the money of late, including last time out when fifth over 1000m at this track two weeks. Well placed and can turn things around. PRISMATICA (2) was safely held last start when tenth over 1200m at this track. May appreciate the shorter journey this time. Settles back early but winds up late. Among the main hopes. AIGA IPPAI (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1000m. Finds a suitable race and can build on solid recent efforts.
