Expecting a strong pace from the outset with plenty of speed engaged. Very good race to finish. ECHO CHECK (8) is a promising type who has two wins and a placing from just three runs. Freshened for this shorter dash and with good speed will take catching. Won only start here. THE LAST DUKE (10) has been in great form winning two back before just missing in a photo last time. Another that will push forward and give a sight. ENSUING (5) has been kept fresh since finishing runner-up behind The Last Duke. That was first run back and will be better for it. No better at the weights but fitter and could well turn the tables. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE (1) performed above expectations last time over 1450m at Turffontein Inside, getting the prize by 0.8 lengths. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Don't underestimate.
