Genuine pace with Metropolitana taking up the running ahead of Amalfi and Hatenabito. AMALFI (6) made it three victories in succession last start when he won with authority over 1300m at this track a month ago. Winning rider Toru Takeyoshi retains the mount. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is capable of another big performance. HATENABITO (4) pushed forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1750m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot salute. METROPOLITANA (9) fought on well for third last start over 1400m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Yoshiki Yamada who has three wins when partnering stays on. Has claims on her best figures. SUPER FLEUR (8) saluted two runs ago then turned in a decent effort last time out when second over 1750m at this track, beaten one length. Worth another chance.
