Strong pace from Alpine Kandy, Bluebird Bay and Think Romance, with Think We're There and Phoenix Power on their heels. All of these look some hope of winning. CHATEAUX PARK (9) made late inroads without threatening in a BM72 over this course and distance a fortnight ago. Carries the same weight today back in a BM64. Hasn't won for a while but in an open race he looks a nice each-way option. UNCLE HARRY (5) settled at the tail of the field then warmed to the task late to get up for fourth last time out over 1600m at this track. Failed here at this distance early in the prep but is fitter now. Will prove hard to hold out. THINK ROMANCE (8) raced on the speed but disappointed in the run home last start over the mile at Hawkesbury. Less pressure up front today over a bit more ground so she can improve on that effort. BLUEBIRD BAY (3) went too keenly at Hawkesbury last start so the blinkers come off for this step up in distance. Placed over 1850m here last prep so this looks a nice race for him. ZIZETTE (6) will appreciate the longer trip today at the third run back from a spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chateaux Park each-way.
