GOING: N

MEMBERS DAY AT GLOBE SUNDAY JULY 27 PACE (SKY 1) 1800m

Track: GOOD

SPLASH OF PAYNT (8) has recorded two wins and two minor placings from the past five starts. Performed well once again when second at his latest appearance over 1800m at this track, beaten 3.5 metres. Shouldn't spend a penny from this draw and the sprint lane may come in handy. Meets a similar lineup and he can take this out. FEISTY JANE (5) went back last start then worked home in tremendous style with a long sustained run to score by 7 metres at this track over 2230m, a well-deserved victory following her good second two runs ago. Steps up a level, but she is up to the task. BETTOR BE LIVELY (1) is worth another chance after a last-start seventh over 1800m at this track a week ago. HARRO HILL (6) broke last start and finished a long last over 1800m at this track when resuming. Meets a similar lineup, so if she behaves, a big run is likely.

Failed to impress last start; was driven from back in the field when 7th (Fr2) over 1800m at this track beaten 12 m by My Ultimate Flynn (2:11.80) in NR 55 to 62 on July 12 at $8. Showed ability the run before when he won by a nose (Fr2) at this track (2:46.70) beating Whata Optimist in NR 52 to 59 on July 7 at $13. Best form should see him in the finish.

Not far away at the last couple starts; Finished 3 m third behind Magic Storm at this track over 1800m NR 47 to 54 last start. Before that was beaten 4.5 metres fourth again at this track same class on June 28. Honest and is a strong winning chance.

Lacklustre performance first-up at this course and distance beaten 95 m sixth after showing some early pace, behind Laylas Princess in a 4yo+ NR up to 54 M on May 31. Will be a different proposition this time.
