Good early tempo with several going forward, primarily Perfect Trust, Miss Paget and Kitten's Adventure. MISS PAGET (3) in her second run this prep won her last start over this course and distance. Despite hanging over the final 300m, she finished her race off strongly. She is having her peak run and should be cherry-ripe. From her good draw of three, she should be the horse to beat. PERFECT TRUST (1) is better than her last start run over 1000m looks on paper. She has finished second once and third twice from as many starts over this course and distance. Has each-way claims. KINGSMEADS KRYSTL (10) is better than her last start run looks. She returns from a spell which would have done her the world of good. She does have a wide draw to overcome but gets the services of Richard Fourie who will give her all the necessary assistance needed from the saddle. DEVILS AND DUST (5) finished sixth of 11 over 1600m at this track last start when sent out at long odds. She jumps from a handy draw and has place claims.
