Slick pace with Deserve finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. DESERVE (2) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a fourth two starts back then scored by 2 lengths last time out after being in the firing line on the corner at this course and distance. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MUCHA SUERTE (12) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt nine months ago. Suited at this level so could prove tough to beat. COPANO HOWARD (5) found the line nicely to grab second last time out over 1200m at this track. Has a win and a placing at this journey from four starts. Key runner who can get home hard into the finish. BOULDER OPAL (7) resumes in a similar race to her last run three-and-a-half months ago when fourth, beaten 2 lengths. Definite top-three chance.
