Strong pace from Orthie's Boys, Unreal Expectation and Rebel Rhapsody, with Master Riley and My Shalom on their heels. MASTER RILEY (3) darted through on the rails late and just missed out in a real thriller over 1400m at Warwick Farm last time out. Has a couple of wins and a placing from three Newcastle runs. Very fit and peaking for this. Track specialist GENERAL SOHO (1) resumed with a modest effort in a quality sprint at Port Macquarie recently. Nicely in after the claim and gets the right run from the inside stall so his prospects are bright. ORTHIE'S BOYS (4) was runner-up in a BM64 here at this trip last time to continue a long run of strong form. Must be considered again. DJAPANA (11) recorded his best first-up performance when beaten a whisker over 1400m at Kembla last start. Back in fine shape and can build on that. SUGGESTED PLAY: Master Riley on top in a race of many chances.
