Rising Renown should lead and control the tempo. Wide open affair. MISS GOBCAIN (6) was a dominant winner over 1800m at this track last start, relishing the wet track there. She should get similar conditions and this is no harder, go well. PERFECT ILLUSION (8) has put up back to back wins, the latest over 2250m, easily accounting for a subsequent winner. He's in great form and should be in the finish again. JAGUARY (1) was unsuited dropping back to 1550m but ran on well for a distant second. Up in trip suits and the wetter the better for him. DUKE OF PLUMPTON (4) found form last start at Cranbourne, running on well for second. His best form puts him in the finish and he may be ready to go on with it now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Miss Gobcain on top.
