Strong tempo from Oakeys Choice, Bold Offa and William. The local SHAFT ATTACK (5) placed twice at Canberra before delivering his Maiden win here over 1000m and it was a game effort. Doubt this is much tougher and he can come hard and go back-to-back. MAN FROM BRUSSELLS (4) was a comfortable 58 winner here and then came back and likely had excuses over a longer sprint. Has the inside gate and this trip suits better. Cahill sticking aboard is a decent push for his chances. OAKEYS CHOICE (2) and BOLD OFFA (3) are both last start winners with claims. The former gets in well with the 3kg claim and the later is free running, and Heywood is a key jockey engagement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Shaft Attack.
