Expecting No Statement to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip.
MR TRACKSIDE (9) made some late ground but was never a threat when fresh from a spell in a comparable race to this here a fortnight ago. Has a fine record at 900m and at the weights looks a big chance with that first run out of the way. NO STATEMENT (1) was runner-up in a BM68 here at this distance two back then turned in an inexplicably poor effort last time, again over 900m at this circuit. In the money at ten of 17 runs here at today's journey so the veteran deserves another chance. ALTERCATION (4) almost won here at this trip two back then started favourite but couldn't reel in the winner over 1100m at Port Macquarie last start. Very hard to beat on the form she has displayed this prep. EXECUTIVE DECISION (6) resumes. Probably needs the run but is worth including in exotics. PRINCESS CRUIZER (3) wasn't far away here last time and is one to watch for late in proceedings. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mr Trackside is well placed to score.
