Fast tempo assured with Understated and Nextone going at each other early in the piece. CELTIC KNOT (2) won a trial quite impressively before failing to fire a shot when resuming at Donald nearly a fortnight ago. He will improve sharply with that run under his belt and the extra 244m is also a big help to him. A good will ensure he can settle closer to the early speed, and he is good enough to take this out. Stick with him. SANCTIMONIOUS (13) is a tough veteran who is normally competitive at this level and is in a good space at the moment. A wide draw is no help, but he is still worth including in all combinations. BOSS CONI (5) is a tough veteran who does not win often but is usually thereabouts. He will be peaking third up and is capable of grabbing a slice of the finish here. STATELY STAR (7) is resuming from a long spell and if he doesn't need the run, he can figure in the finish.
