Strong early tempo from Solar Gale pressing hard from an outside gate while Chicago Storm boots up underneath. CHICAGO STORM (7) looks one of the better bets of the day after enduring a wide run last start, only run down on the line. He's in flying form and rates well clear here so should be winning from barrier one. EYES NEVER LIE (9) has a couple of lengths to make up on the favourite but is racing well and should be running on strongly again. SHORT STORIES (8) powered home for an eye catching win last time over 1300m. Will get back from a wide barrier but watch for him late. DEEVINE (5) relished a drop in grade at Gawler to win comfortably last time and deserves another crack at this level. SOLAR GALE (1) has a big weight but is up to these with a significant drop in grade today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chicago Storm to win.
