Genuine tempo with the speedy Chartin leading the way. LUCAS THE YOUNGER (1) impressed here last start when leading throughout and scoring comfortably. At peak fitness now and drawn to roll forward again, he looks the one to beat. CHARTIN (8) hasn’t broken through for a long time but finds this easier on the quick back-up. Has sharp early speed and a strong record at this venue. Bold showing anticipated. PAGANINI (2) is still chasing his first win but continues to knock on the door. Blinkers go on to sharpen him up and he’s not without a chance. ZAIN PRINCE (3) was well below his best last start at headquarters but had been ticking along nicely prior. Drawn much kinder this time and gets in well with the claim, so can bounce back. EASY BEAST (6) mixes his form but has good early speed and can play a role up front.
