Three Arrows should spear straight to the front of the small field. THREE ARROWS (4) started favourite on debut last start over 1250m here but after leading for home found a couple marginally better in the final stages. The blinkers go on and with that race experience now on board he will be tough to beat. BLAZING FUTURE (1) was friendless in betting but worked through the line impressively to get up for third on debut over 1300m at Hawkesbury last time out. Will appreciate the longer run home at Newcastle and looms as a serious threat. JOHN DORY (3) is a first starter by Ace High. Placed in his most recent trial at Warwick Farm and hails from a leading yard so keep safe. KADESKY (8) may improve second up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Three Arrows to win.
