GOING: S(7)

DRINKWISE PLATE 1550m

Track: SOFT7   Clear (Max: 14)   Rail: Out 3m Entire. (Pent: 5.83).

Plenty of early pace from Vivezza, La Belle Claire and Cheergal primarily. VIVEZZA (10) just missed first-up over 1400m at the Kensington track then was slow to recover after finishing third at $1.40 over the mile at Hawkesbury last start. The one to beat on her best figures so that latest effort is worth forgiving under the circumstances. CHEERGAL (5) appreciated the firmer ground and improved sharply when second-up last start, battling on well for second as favourite over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Cherry ripe now and bred to want this sort of trip. LENAPE VIBE (4) failed to threaten when in the red last start over 1600m at Kembla. Lightly raced and the SP profile suggests he has more to offer. SWEET HEAVEN (9) found the line well in a Class 1 over 1600m at Wyong last time. Lightly raced and open to further improvement. EXPOSITION (3) is fitter for two runs back from a spell and is right in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Vivezza.
