STELLA MA BELLA (7) hails from the leading Walker/Bergerson stable and was a game third on debut over 1230m at Arawa Park 3 weeks ago. The step up to 1400m will suit her, and Craig Grylls sticks with her. On top for us. RED PEARL (9) makes her debut off the back of an impressive trial win at Te Awamutu by 6 lengths. A wide gate is against her, but she looks to be above average, and she can make an immediate impact. Check the market. STARLIT EXPRESS (10) battled into sixth on debut at Arawa Park 3 weeks ago, and will continue to improve with racing. The extra journey will help, and she has top 3 claims this time. SPIRITUS (3) was put aside after making his debut as a juvenile at Pukekohe. He resumes with a couple of trials under his belt, and having Opie Bosson in the saddle is a strong lead. Watch closely. DA DA WING (1) peaked on his run late when finishing fourth on debut in heavy ground at Pukekohe nearly 6 weeks ago. Warren Kennedy rides from the pole position. Each way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Red Pearl each way on debut, but the field is very even.
