Had mixed success in Queensland over the winter carnival at Listed level. Fitted with the two trials and anywhere near her best can win this from the good gate. YOWERI (8) from an in-form yard and has needed the two runs to bring him to his top. Gives the impression the jump in distance will suit after finishing fourth over 1100m at Hawkesbury in fast time. Gets the right set-up to stake his claim. JUST RESPONSE (6) returned for his second prep when a solid on-pace second over 1200m at Scone. Finds a stronger contest and doesn't get the same favours here. Each-way. HARRY'S HALO (5) form hard to fault and comes here in peak condition. Stalked the good speed when a narrow second over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Gets the right setup today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Royal Chic can launch the campaign in winning style.
