No noted leaders on paper so Cherish and Coffers are the ones likely to be prominent. VITAL PEACE (2) finished sixth at his last appearance over 1500m at Sapporo on August 25. Likely to be in the finish in this suitable assignment. D FANKS (6) last appeared six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1800m at Niigata when he finished 17th. This is his first run for the Hirohiro Moriyama stable. Expecting a bright start for the new mentor. COFFERS (1) has switched yards since finishing 12th a month ago over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. One of the genuine hopes in the race. CANOTIER (7) has been safely held at her last couple of runs, the latest when 17th over 2000m at Chukyo. Easier assignment this time so don't underestimate.
