Expecting Rahaan to take up the running with I'mtimmyzou and Sherriff Cody close at hand. CLASSIC DEEL (2) drifted back when a poor ninth over 2200m at Doomben in BM78 class on August 31. Earlier efforts were sound and can bounce back in this easier event. SHERRIFF CODY (3) tough gelding holding his form well. Caught the eye late when third over 2020m at Murwillumbah on August 23. Winkers go on and he looks one of the leading contenders. MR FRENCH (1) kept fresh after failing to finish off second up when seventh over 1630m at Doomben on August 31. Kept ticking over with a 1050m trial at Beaudesert and has each way prospects. I'MTIMMYZOU (5) working into form and built on a nice second two back at Murwillumbah, with a win dominant 5.5 len victory over 2120m here two weeks ago. This is much tougher but he looks up to the task. SUGGESTED PLAY: Classic Deal to win.
