COMES A TIME (3) was outstanding last prep and while 1000m is short of his best trip he has to go on top on honesty alone. Trialled well leading in and will be charging home. VANE TEMPEST (6) just missed two starts back at this trip then up to 1200m and was game in again running second. Doesn't need to improve to be in the finish of this. TIMELY OUTBURST (7) has been freshened up since an even effort back at the end of June. Last win was fresh at this trip so stays under notice. SPIRITED SESSION (8) and LONG BEACH (2) have claims.
