Three Rosemary is expected to lead at a strong tempo. HAVANA ROSE (3) is ready to win after she just missed last time, beaten a head into second over 1000m at Monbetsu after being prominent all the way. That made it three seconds on the trot so deserves a win and could achieve it here. THREE ROSEMARY (8) finished fifth at this track and distance at her last appearance four-and-a-half months ago and had put together a string of top-two finishes prior. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. NITTO RAIJIN (7) is racing well and is close to a win after back-to-back placings, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1600m after being prominent from the outset. Contender. FLY HIGH (9) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1400m at this track. Can feature again.
