Plenty of runners but a dawdling affair is on the cards. AWESOME FORCE (7) flew home from a long way back first-up at Belmont over 1300m and clocked some very good splits there. Straight out to 1695m now looks a good move and he maps to sit much closer than he did fresh. Looks a nice type on the up and he makes plenty of appeal. LOVE OF FAR FA (11) comes through a hot form race last start over 1675m here where she flashed late to finish 0.8L away. Three winners have come out of that race since and Faithfull hops on board now. Knocking on the door and should get her chance. REGAL BOY (4) is drawn a little sticky, but finished off strongly over this course and distance a fortnight ago. He should be fitter again third-up now and with further improvement expected, he can make his presence felt again. SIN CITY BOY (8) comes through the same race as Regal Boy and has claims third-up. KAMBULA (10) should appreciate the mile trip on debut and is worth thought on debut. SUGGESTED PLAY: Awesome Force can get the job done.
