Vieste should lead and control the tempo. All but the top weight are rising in distance. PRETTY PLEASE (6) brings a strong Maiden win from the Sapphire Coast over a mile heavily bet. Presented off narrow defeats at Kembla Grange, and they also stack up for this. She's a strong finisher, and the step up to the middle distance is ideal. She just missed at Canberra in a CL1, the only time she raced at 2000m. STAR EMPIRE (3) races forward and deserved his 2.2L win at Wagga over a mile. Maps well and should be suited around here. Will get every chance to repeat the dose. THAT A BOY (2) is a local who draws the paint. Raced a short-priced favourite here last time over 1460m and winning rider Heywood is reunited, and that's a positive. POKER FLASH (5) peaks and the winkers go on. She was better at the mile here last time and keeps the handy 2kg claim. She has scope for further improvement. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Pretty Please.
