Expecting Beach Couture to take up the running with One Way Ride and Titahi Bay close at hand. AYE VEE AITCH (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Moonee Valley, beaten 6 lengths. It's doubtful any of his rivals here could have got any closer, so he looks the testing material despite the wide draw. TITAHI BAY (10) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 2 lengths from the winner in third over 1206m at Benalla. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. NEWS TRAVELS FAST (3) is a six-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Avoca over 1300m, beaten 4.5 lengths. Will take a lot from that hit-out and looks a strong chance to break through. VIRE RIVER (8) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when tenth, beaten 8 lengths, over 1000m at Bairnsdale. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Aye Vee Aitch to win.
