AMOR FATI (5) should have finished closer to the winner over 1400m last time as he hung outwards on the turn. The son of Global View steps up to 2000m and gets the services of Gavin Lerena. If seeing out the extra distance on offer, he is the one to beat. NEW FRONTIER (4) set the pace over 1950m at last time but found one too good on the day. He has a great chance of taking them all the way this time. CITY LIGHTS (2) hails from the visiting Fanie Bronkhorst stable. Her last start is best ignored as she was reported to be not striding out post-race. She has form on the course and should be right in the finish this time. Each way. ARJUNA (6) ran a fair race over 1900m on this course last time out. She has scope and is lightly weighted with Brevan Plaatjies retaining the ride. She has solid each-way claims in this lineup.
