Exceed Rock to go to the lead at a genuine tempo. JETSKI (4) was well supported to start favourite before drifting back and making a little ground late when 4th over the 1200m at Ipswich on August 5. Backs-up quickly and look for a much better showing. MR BROSE (6) is close to scoring another win after racing on the speed and failing narrowly over 1200m at Ipswich on July 29. Up in grade and yet to win at this distance. Place prospects best. EXCEED ROCK (3) looks hard fit for this after a solid 4th when racing on the pace over 1200m at this track on July 23. This his preferred track and looks a major player. PENASQUITO (2) resumes today after holding his form well last time in. Has excellent first-up stats and ticks plenty of boxes for this. Bold showing anticipated. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 4,6,3,2.
