Solid tempo with Ice In Vancouver leading. ICE IN VANCOUVER (5) is a progressive gelding who has won his two starts in NSW since a spell. He is becoming a 1000m specialist having won five of six attempts at the distance. Kept fresh for this and races well that way. Can win again. EF TROOP (2) won his only try at 1000m. He is a two-time fresh winner and will be ready to go off two nice trials. RACECOURSE ROAD (1) is another that usually races well first up and his two recent trials included a win at this track. SHAMROCK LU (7) bombed the start when resuming but has won a trial since. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ice In Vancouver to add to his impressive record at this distance.
