Last raced when second over 1800m at this track 11 weeks ago which was the only run of that prep. Winning rider Kazuo Yokoyama stays aboard. Course and distance winner expected to go close. BATARD (14) returns after a spell of six months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Got best while fresh and has found the right race. MISTY MOUNTAIN (11) is back from a spell of three-and-a-half months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt. Sure to make his presence felt. PROSPECT PARK (8) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his last appearance at this track over 1800m on September 28. Among the better hopes.
